Manolis is a graduate of Middlesex University in Hospitality Management, has worked in many hotels, restaurants, convention centres in the UK & in Greece. Founder of Academy of Gastronomy & Tourism in 2014. Actively involved in promoting Cretan cuisine and local products. Member of Slow Food International and Terra Madre Movement. In cooperation with Academy team undertakes consultancy projects in the tourism sector. Chania Gastronomy is a new ambitious and promising project in which he combined both of his passions - tourism and gastronomy, the main purpose of which is to promote the essence of Greek lifestyle.

Born in Russia, Anastasiia moved to Crete in the young age and immediately fallen in love with this place. After completing a Bachelor Degree with Marketing specialisation in Sweden, she decided to come back to Crete and continue pursuing her career in Digital Marketing by helping and promoting local businesses. She is bright and ambitious and gives the sparkle of action the team needs. Anastasiia is responsible for all activities of Chania Gastronomy on Social Media platforms and search engines. Speaks fluent Russian & English.

Iosif is currently an Executive Chef of the Luxurious Kydon hotel in the heart of Chania town. Iosif has been working as a professional Chef/ Confiseur in Hospitality Industry since 1992. in 2001 his dream came true opening “Aidonisos” Restaurant/Patisserie, where for a decade becomes a benchmark for the gastronomy of Chania and gains nationwide reputation. His motto is "Modern Cuisine inspired by our traditional recipes and fresh local ingredients". He's been teaching many years culinary arts at the local state College of FE. Since last year, he has joined us in the Academy as an instructor in Culinary Arts and project consultant. Iosif with great joy and enthusiasm expects to welcome the summer visitors to share his gastronomic expertise and introduce them in the Cretan way of cooking, eating, tasting and demonstrate the unique hospitality Cretans share with family and friends around a table.
